You’ve probably noticed that the number of emails you’re receiving from the HSNet website has increased lately . . . and perhaps you’d prefer to receive fewer of these emails about updates to your Groups’ activities. Now you can!

We are delighted to announce a new feature on the HSNet site that lets you choose to receive your email notifications as Daily or Weekly Digests, or to continue receiving Individual notifications for some Groups if you wish. The options are:

• Individual emails: every time a Group is updated, you receive an email notification. This is useful for Group Managers and in Groups where you want immediate notification of updates.
• Daily Digest: receive just one email per day about updates to this Group. If you have other Groups set to 'Daily Digest', they will be included in the same email. This is the default option when you first sign up, and is best for high volume Groups.
• Weekly Digest: as for 'Daily Digest', but emails are sent on a weekly basis.
• Off: select this option if you do not wish to receive email notifications for this Group. All the content will still be available on the site when you next visit.
  
  
  

How to change your Email options via Group Email Settings page

To change your email options, click on Group email settings link, which can be accessed via My HSNet homepage

and through individual Group homepages

We have created a single page where you can set up different email options for each of your Groups. Next to each Group, select your preferred notification type from the drop-down menu. Alternatively, you can set the same notification type for all your groups by selecting the option from the Apply to all Groups drop-down menu.

Select the Save Changes button to save the changes to your Group email notification settings.
